This adventure begins in Split, the famous festival destination and residence of the 1700-year-old Diocletian's Palace. Once you are all settled in, you will meet with our team that will brief you with the information you need for the upcoming days. Your journey of discovering the beauty of Croatia starts with Split. The first stop is Marjan Hill (178 m), a beautiful park located on a peninsula near the center that overlooks the sea, full of Aleppo pine. This easy hike is an excellent warm-up for the days ahead. The trail is mild and 5 km long. After a lovely walk through Marjan and incredible views from the hill, it's time to discover the city center. The Diocletian's Palace is a landmark of Split and a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover Peristyle, the cathedral of St. Domnius, piazzas, Romanesque buildings, and vast cellars located within the Palace walls. The Palace has many layers such as excellent Mediterranean restaurants, taverns, bars, art galleries, and of course, its witty locals. You will spend the night in Split.
Discover the marvelous island of Brač
In the morning, you will hop on a ferry that will take you to your first destination, Brač Island. After a pleasant 50-minute ferry ride, you will arrive in Supetar, the main town of the island. The rich cultural and historical heritage of Supetar will take you back in time. You will find yourself surrounded by numerous rustic villas, cobblestone streets, and romantic squares called pjace. The emphasis is on an 18th-century church with a beautiful bell tower and museum. With its cultural events, festivals, numerous restaurants, and bars, Supetar is the most popular place on the island. For your time in Supetar, we have prepared three different hiking routes, each starting from the harbor. Trails vary in length and range from which you can choose easy, medium, or hard. Visit the most popular destination on the Adriatic, Hvar
In the morning you will travel to Milna, where you will take a ferry to the island of Hvar. You will arrive in the town of Hvar, a beautiful place with an old town full of historical buildings and monuments. Hvar city gained glory and power during the Middle Ages as an important port within the Venetian nautical empire, and today is one of the most popular destinations on the Dalmatian Riviera. It is renowned for its unique blend of luxurious Mediterranean life, rich historical heritage, Venetian architecture, and mild climate. We have prepared three different hiking routes for this destination, each starting from the main square of Hvar. The trails vary in length and range from which you can choose easy, medium, or hard. You will spend the night in the town of Hvar.
Explore Hvar before departing for Korčula Island
Enjoy your morning leisure in Hvar. Relax on the beach or wander in the narrow streets while exploring the shops, galleries, bars, and restaurants. You can also take one of the hikes offered in your booklet. If you like, you can join us on our kayak tour to the Pakleni Islands to get the best combination of activities in Hvar. Later you will board a ferry from Hvar to Vela Luka on Korčula. Vela Luka is located on the western side of the island of Korčula in a vast bay with many indented coves. The town developed in the early 19th century in a deep sheltered bay. The name Vela Luka originates from the Croatian term, which means big harbor. The residents of the town are mostly farmers, fishermen, and tourism workers. Vela Luka has an average of 2,500 hours of sunshine a year. Overnight is in Vela Luka.
Visit the small Mediterranean town of Vela Luka
After a delicious breakfast, continue exploring Croatian wonders, starting with the island of Korčula and the town of Vela Luka. Vela Luka is a quiet Mediterranean town. The surrounding area is mild, with hilly relief, and the highest hill is Hum (376 m). We have prepared three different hiking routes starting from the center of Vela Luka. The trails vary in length and range from which you can choose easy, medium, or hard. Descriptions and details for all routes can be found in the travel booklet you will carry with you throughout the trip. In the evening, walk around the city promenade and taste local specialties while enjoying the pleasant summer breeze. Overnight is in Vela Luka.
Explore the city of Marco Polo
After a cup of coffee and breakfast, you travel to the next place, the town of Korčula. With our private transportation, you will reach your destination in half an hour. Korčula is the capital of the island, with around 3,000 inhabitants. The most prominent sight is the medieval old town with its walls and towers, monuments, piazza, cafes, galleries, open-air cinemas, and more. The town of Korčula was built on a peninsula, overlooking the Pelješac peninsula. Narrow streets, designed according to a fishbone, help reduce the impacts of wind and sun, providing citizens with a convenient and comfortable settlement. Visit the house of Marco Polo, the most famous adventurer who inspired many to sail off and explore the world. For today we have prepared a moderate hiking route, starting from the center of Korčula. Hiking tour through Mljet National Park
A 30-minute ferry ride will take you to your next destination Pomena. Pomena is a small pueblo located in the western part of the Mljet National Park. The National Park covers an area of 54 km2 and includes two salt lakes, Malo Jezero and Veliko Jezero, Soline bay, the villages of Goveđari, Polače, and Pomena. It is a beautiful green island with 70% of its area covered with forest. Olive trees and vines on the island create a stunning combination of tenderness, aroma, and sensation. For your time on the island of Mljet, we have prepared a moderate hiking route, starting from Pomen and sightseeing the lake area in the National Park. Overnight in Pomena on the island of Mljet.
The final destination is Dubrovnik, a pearl of the Adriatic
On the last day of this adventure, you will head to Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic. The city has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. The tour ends with your arrival in Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik offers outstanding nightlife, world-class restaurants with Michelin stars, and upscale bars.
